It's been a while

It has been a long time since I have posted on Cameron's Journey. He is almost 4 years old now. He started to preschool in Mrs. Ruth Jones Class at Red Cross Elementary School the day he turned 3 years old. It was a bittersweet day. I was sad to see him start to school so early but I know in my heart it is what is best for him.

We have seen a lot of improvements in Cameron. We are still doing everything we can to help him. We are following the DAN! protocol but are seeing Dr. Michael Bernui in Hendersonville TN now. I just started EDTA chewing gum with him today to help chelate the aluminum. He tested high so we need to get it out. Low muscle tone is also a sign of aluminum in the body. Cameron has low tone.

He has learned to say so many words. Our latest accomplishment is for him to say "I want ....."
It takes a little motivation be he will say it. We saw a big jump in his vocabulary when we started the Methyl B-12 shots. If you use the EMLA cream it will numb him up & he doesn't feel the shots.

He has been blessed by so many great therapist and teachers who have worked so hard. Leigh Anne Rhoden has been so great for Cameron. She comes to our house twice a week & she gets so much out of him. She teaches me a lot too.

Another great accomplishment is that he is now "peeing on the potty"!! Not every time but we are making progress. Linda Veldman, Stephanie Smith & Angela Bass from TJ Samson are helping us with this.

Michelle Dirkalski from Family Options is training Danielle & Bekka Pedigo to work with him in doing ABA. I would love to get more ABA in, It makes a big difference in his behavior.

I am so thankful for all of the accomplishments he has made, God has blessed us.
